Beck Storer

Beck’s first memory of being creative was when she decided as a 4 year old to “clean” and paint her fathers 1978 Holden Monaro with paint stripper...
Casual in nature and always one to do things a bit differently, she tends to hang out on the creative fringe while exploring her creativity.
She is founder and Creative Director of The Cutaway. She is also a strong supporter for industry led design education and is actively involved in the design education scene in Melbourne, Australia

Public Art by Beck Storer

The River Runs Through Public Art by Beck Storer The River Runs Through is a dynamic art installation which explores the rich narrative of the water ways found at the Merbein Common; a native reserve on the Murray River of Victoria. The artwork combines traditional mural painting with innovative digital printing and is presented on the walls of an old refrigerated storage shed, which was once used to store fruit for a juice factory. At night it is a totally different experience; powered by the sun the artwork is transformed into a colorful light installation.
