Villa by Guoqiang Feng and Yan Chen

One Jiyang Lake Villa by Guoqiang Feng and Yan Chen This is a private villa located in Southern China, where the designers takes the Zen Buddhism theory in practice to carry out the design. By abandoning the unnecessary, and the use of natural, intuitive materials and concise design methods, the designers created a simple, quiet and comfortable contemporary oriental living space. The comfortable contemporary oriental living space uses the same simple design language as the high-quality Italian modern furniture for the interior space.

Office by Guoqiang Feng and Yan Chen

LH Shanghai Office by Guoqiang Feng and Yan Chen This is a newly established investment company with a small office, with its total area being a little over 300 square meters. Based on the fact that the chairman of the company is a lady with character, They aimed to create an office space that meets the chairman’s temperament, by giving the space the superposition of "a home" and "a gallery". The designers try to use the simplest technique to create a feminine office space that is "gentle and quiet", where people feel easy-going and relaxed, without the sense of stress and urgency.

Villa by Guoqiang Feng and Yan Chen

Rui Fu Villa by Guoqiang Feng and Yan Chen The design of the villa is inspired by the Zen concepts of Form (meaning all visible and tangible matter) and Emptiness (meaning the invisible spiritual world). The design uses simple lines and colors to create a home space without complexity. Some of the details highlights this quality, such as the delicate curved corners of walls, floors and pillars, the Italian furniture and lamps, and the local artworks. The designers have created a quiet and comfortable family space, allowing for people to better receive spiritual nourishment.
