Davood BoroojeniAs an architect, he has been involved in different stages of architectural projects including the conception of preliminary design ideas, schematic design, and design development, as well as producing submittal packages, visual presentations, construction documents, layouts, and details through close dialogue with clients, producers, and other engineers. He believes that his communication skills, public relations, and problem-solving experience, combined with his background in related software, and his ability to research, schedule, and coordinate design in various stages of the project, have made him an architect to depend on, and a key team member. He seeks solutions for future architecture with the aim of creating coexisting architecture based on identity, culture, and history. His most essential concerns in architecture are the creation of communal spaces, desirable spatial quality, local architecture, climate, and the exposed usage of materials.
Shamim Polymer Factory by Davood Boroojeni The plant needs to maintain three programs including production facility and lab and office. The lack of defined functional programs in these types of projects is the reasons for their unpleasant spatial quality. This project seeks to solve this problem by utilizing circulation elements to divide unrelated programs. The design of the building revolves around two void spaces. These void spaces create the opportunity for separating functionally unrelated spaces. At the same time acts as a middle courtyard where every part of the building is connected with each other. Gilbam Residential House by Davood Boroojeni Due to the fact that climate and neighborhood were not the limiting factors for the location of the villa, the east of the land, which used to be a place of another building in the past, was allocated for this purpose. With the aim of minimizing intrusion and seizure of the area, the connection surface of the villa to the land was limited to the same rectangle of the old building dimensions. To meet the demands of the employer two console volumes were added to the initial core of the project at ground level and the first floor without connecting to the ground. |
