Mai S Al BusairiMai Al Busairi is a creative architect and an inspiring leader. She is the principal architect and founder of Parallel Design Studio. Her architectural sense is influenced by the practice of flaneuring.
She is active in the local and international design community, as she was head creative in Imagined Shared Territory in La Biennale di Venezia-2014, a design member of the Kuwaiti pavilion in La Biennale di Venezia-2016, and featured Solitary an art installation in Dubai Design week-2018. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in architecture from Kuwait University College of Architecture. She is also certified in an architectural Programs from SCI-Arc Los Angeles, and the Institute for advanced architecture of Catalonia (IAAC), Spain. Mariam's Library by Mai Al Busairi Mariam’s Library enriches education for Beit Ras School and the Mwanyanya community in Tanzania. It mirrors Parallel's global welfare commitment. The initiative not only acknowledges the importance of education but also recognizes its potential in shaping lives and communities. The library seamlessly integrates into the educational framework, bridging gaps and paving the way for a brighter future. Its impact extends beyond the confines of a physical space, radiating positivity and igniting a passion for learning that transcends boundaries. |
